During this project I worked together with Semi Asani and it was our first attempt at using state machines. We went through a lot of iterations when it came to our planned states but the actual state machine worked was easy to work with and expand on.
Collision system
So this was the first game we had that needed physics and a more fleshed out collision system. The task was put on me and I tried to do so much but there was always some edge case that broke everything. It almost gave me a mental breakdown and then one of our educators told me to dumb it down. I did... and everything just worked.
